Hassan to Bengaluru
Born Naveen Kumar Gowda on 8 January 1986 in Bojjhenahalli, Hassan. His father drove KSRTC buses; the son chose theatre. In Bengaluru he trained with the Benaka troupe, then TV — Nanda Gokula made him a household face and introduced him to Radhika Pandit.
Moggina Manasu → Filmfare
2008 Filmfare Best Supporting Actor for Moggina Manasu. First lead pairing with Radhika. The award was not the peak — it was the ignition. Sandalwood would soon call him Rocking Star.
Googly to Ramachari
A streak of commercial wins — Googly, Raja Huli, Gajakesari, Mr. & Mrs. Ramachari — made Yash Sandalwood's highest-paid star. Ramachari (~₹50 Cr) was the high-water mark of that era and a double Filmfare / SIIMA Best Actor sweep.
